The wedding of Elise and Marcus was what you could call ‘an event’. A civil ceremony, held at the beautiful Sculpture Gallery at Woburn (near Woburn Abbey), it was an emotional and gorgeous day all round but what really stole the show was the evening entertainment. We had a full size, professional dance floor laid down and some members of the amazing ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Band – they really are as good as they sound! – blew everyone away. We had a professional full-on dance show, Nicky French and Andy Abrahams performing, plus some totally awesome flute soloist. It was quite a spectacle, to say the least.
I lucked out, again working with Keith Thompson (Studio Rouge), and to top it all off their video was nominated for ‘Best Wedding Day Film 2009’ Award by the Institute of Videography, going on to win a ‘Highly Commended’ Award.
This is their Wedding Day Film:
“We absolutely love it – thank you so much…There’s a lot to enjoy, but we were delighted by the editing and soundtrack, especially the apposite use of music/ lyrics which matched the mood or events going on in the frame. Seamless, artistic and beautiful. You caught so much important stuff from the day.”
