News from Ines Telling – Professional Wedding Videographer
So I thought May was busy for filming weddings, but June has just exploded with last minute bookings!!! Not only one of the hottest months to date this year, this month has seen me filming weddings in Bucks, Surrey, then driving over to Thame and Oxford to film a mid-week and a Friday wedding.
To start off the month I was back in Surrey to film a military wedding at the Officer Academy of Sandhurst with the ceremony at the Royal Memorial Chapel and wedding breakfast at the Officers Mess of Deepcut Barracks near Bisley. All lovely shiny boots, uniforms and swords – very dashing :))
I was then back at Danesfield House to film the wedding of Susan and Leif. Danesfield is a luxury hotel and Spa, with grounds within the beautiful Chiltern Hills and overlooks the River Thames. It is located between towns of Marlow and Henley-on-Thames. The weather was perfect for some time-lapse testing and we managed to get some dramatic cloud and sunset time lapse footage. Can’t wait to get my editing teeth into that!
Henley-on-Thames and surrounding towns and villages are so beautiful that Mr Vis-a-Video and I have often thought of moving there, especially around Penn and Beaconsfield or into some of the smaller villages in and around Buckinghamshire.
The following Wednesday saw Peter and myself drive off to Oxford for a mid-week wedding. Lucky for me I am friends with Stuart Bebb, one of the fabulous wedding photographers based just outside Oxford and he gave me the secret directions into Oxford to miss all the traffic. Weeliem and Ellen were getting married at Christ Church, which is a unique institution, one of the largest colleges in the University of Oxford and the Cathedral Church for the Diocese of Oxford.
It also has one of the nicest, most accommodating and helpful reverends I have ever come across in my career as wedding Videographer :)) Peter and I also managed to see the dining hall and staircase which were used in some of the Harry Potter films. Check out these photos…
After driving all the way back from Oxford, I had just about enough time to turn around before heading out to film Tania and Ioannis wedding at the lovely Notley Abbey in Thame. We arrived obscenely early for this so had loads of time to try some more time lapse stuff and again, managed some great clouds and sunsets. It is always great to go back to Notley Abbey, they really look after us suppliers, plus I am on the books as the recommended wedding videographer :)) Right back to the editing suite and get ready for July which is even busier than June, lets just hope the weather cools down a tad! x
