Filming your wedding video at Great Fosters
Greetings from the Flight Deck – this is the First Officer reporting in with news of Ines Telling and VIS-a-VIDEO – February is still a fairly quiet time in the wedding industry – but that does not mean Ines is having any time off. Having just completed a weeks filming at the Hawth Theatre near Gatwick for the British Airways Pantomime Society, G.A.P.S., filming a church ceremony at Winchester followed by the reception at Highclere Castle, this weekend was a civil ceremony at Great Fosters near Egham in Surrey.
Here is a little sample of a Great Fosters Wedding we filmed last winter – how pretty does Great Fosters look all iced up and moody! And the Tithe Barn looks just stunning in all its glory:
In between all this filming there have been deadlines to meet as editing and post production are a much larger part of a wedding video than the filming.
Recently, VIS-a-VIDEO became the nominated wedding videographer for Bijou Wedding Venues. They are currently running a number of Wedding Fairs at their 4 venues – Notley Abbey, Cain Manor, Botleys Mansion and Silchester House and Ines has been printing brochures for the Wedding Venues to display at the fairs non stop.
This weekend, Ines was off to film the wedding of Vinny and Rozina at the lovely venue of Great Fosters which is located so close to Heathrow International Airport you could almost walk to it from British Airways Terminal 5. Ines and Simon drove firstly to the bride’s house in Heston, Middlesex to film some bridal preparations and after an hour or so headed off ahead of the bride to set up at Great Fosters and film the groom and guests arriving.
Vinny and Rozina decided on a simple afternoon civil ceremony in the beautiful Orangery, followed by champagne and canapés. There is a great selection of canapés to choose from their Autumn and Winter Menu which is prepared by Head Chef, Simon Bolsover; please have a look at this link where you can download their menus.
The Orangery is one of 4 locations you can hold your wedding reception at Great Fosters; this link will show you the other 3 to choose from, depending on the number of guests. Rozina and Vinny had about 100 guests and as there was no wedding breakfast by 6 pm most guests had headed off and the bride and groom headed to their white Bentley Arnage waiting to drive the freshly married couple to the groom’s house for some more wedding celebrations and speeches.
These were not required to be professionally filmed, so Simon and Ines headed 5 minutes down the road to their friends Josh and Anna for a well-deserved beer before heading back to Epsom Downs. Another wedding successfully filmed, many congratulations to Rozina and Vinny…
