3 weeks ago I attended my local Ashtanga yoga class , and even though I had been suffering from a lower back injury I did hope the class would help out the situation. Unfortunately this was not the case, and I have had to remain off work for nearly 3 weeks. It looks like the facet joint had caught or locked and caused a spasm in the lower back. Always trying to see the glass half full rather than half empty I have spent the last 3 weeks at home studying SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) . We have bought 3 books, the first the classic Dummies book to get some basic understanding of SEO , keyword density, meta tags and adding site url to the 3 main search engines, plus understanding how the search engines trawl web pages and final a bit about page rankings. Having now applied some of these new skills to both my site and Ines’s Wedding Company it will now take about 8 weeks before we start to see some results. After 16 years of Ines running her business along side her careerer at United Airlines it was about time we kicked her site into main stream with the some new skills.
On Sunday I went down to Aldershot to see a few friends enter into the Leatherhead Enduro run at Hungry Hill. As I got up in the morning we already had a thin layer of snow on the ground and within a few hours and the sun coming up the snow had melted and the ground become very muddy , enfact too muddy and the lads to find the going very tough indeed. Of the 4 friends who entered , one injuried his back, one his thigh and the other this thumb, I have yet to catch up with the 4 friend.
We have decided that maybe we need to lower our sights a bit rather than shoot for the starts , so we are hoping start doing a few rounds of tbec enduros in the New Year to get a taste for enduros then enter a few local competions.
I am off the monthly TRF meeting tonight and will be picking up some more footage which I will hope to edit in the next few weeks and get uploaded, so keep your eyes posted for more enduro fun clips.
Ines is very busy with her Wedding Company and with the run up to Christmas she is working a 18 hour day 7 day a week regime so she can deliver to her customers.
