VIS-à-VIDEO going to Highclere Castle to film wedding

Been a very busy and traumatic couple of weeks … last Thursday I was involved in a RTA which saw me being rushed to A&E at St Helier Hospital in Croydon after I was accidentally punted off my mountain bike by a friend. I actually landed so hard I somehow managed to break 3 ribs, the shoulder blade and crack my collar bone ( 4th time ) and also bruise the lungs along the way. I was in such a bad way I spent 8 days in ICU on drips and breathing in oxygen. Typical NHS they wont tell Ines anything and it was until a day later did she finally find out what full scale of the crash was.

After 8 days I was released from hospital and advised I could recover at home, problem is I cant sleep lying down as it effects the ribs , so I have ended up sleeping in the lounge in a big chair , not the most comfortable way to sleep. The hospital surgeons are happy with the breaks , they have been classed as stable and should slowly heal and re-join after 6 -8 weeks.

2 months off work is an awful long time to be off work, so a friend has recommended I go and see Brian Simpson in Ipswich who specialises in fixing broken bones on professional motorcycle racers. I have made some inquires  into cost etc. and once I get the x-rays of the shoulder and collar bone we are hoping to drive up to Ipswich and visit Brian for 3 treatments in the one day.

On the business front , VIS-à-VIDEO is off to film a wedding at the lovely Highclere Castle . For a lovely show-reel of wedding photos please click this link to their web site

We had a malfunction in the air conditioning unit on the golf and had hoped to have it fixed before she set off today. However, after 3 hours of trying to fix the problem we actually ended up with a car that was over heating, so Ines has had to travel in my VW T4 can which should be fun :-)

We have been promised that the car will be fixed by tomorrow , fingers crossed on that side .

I have also planned to have the front and rear suspension altered on the T4 back to into original state , as in its current blinged out surfer style the suspension has been lowered and stiffened and it kills all my current and no doubt new injuries…

Ok till next time , keep the rubber sunny side up …..
