Been a very busy few weeks for Ines at VIS-a-VIDEO, last weekend was the GAPS Pantomime awards and showing of this years panto which was held at the Hawth near Crawley.
Everyone enjoyed the show reel epically the intro and outtakes, samples clips can been seen her on VIS-a-VIDEO Facebook.
We have moved locations on Facebook from a Group to a Page , so everyone had to be emailed and asked to move across, but at least this way everyone can keep up to date with activities from the Wedding Videos front or from the local theatre and production shows she films.
We have had a few issues with Final Cut Pro yesterday which caused a big outage in the studio and meant we had to re-install FCP and all the plug ins so a very long day in the production suite, with Ines putting in another 18 hour day.
How she does this and still manages to function is beyond me , I suffer if I don’t get a full 8 hours sleep.
I am hoping to go on a introduction to Final Cut Pro in London next week , so I can get a base understanding of the software and also may then be able to support her in the studio with some basic cutting & splicing of Weddings.
I am currently trying to understand how to create flash movies for the web site with either Flash progressive downloads and or streaming videos.
We currently pay to have our wedding video demos hosted on Vimeo , but as we have unlimited bandwidth and storage with our web hosting Company we feel we should take advantage of this.
Easier said than done, as I am having real issues with the speed of our streaming and flash files , I am currently investigating this with both the Web Hosting Company and running several tests with the encoding software we use.
On the social side of life , I have been having great fun out mountain biking near Dorking Surrey at a location called Cold Harbour with a great ride last Saturday up and around Leigh Hill, I had to walk up the hill with the mountain bike , note to self work on the fitness and lose another stone in weight.
Last night several of us from the office went to see the new Star Trek movie and tonight I am off to Brighton to see the “Blue Man Group”
Tomorrow I and 19 other riders are heading off to Golden Barn to have a play on a motocross track, I will try and remember to take the stills and video camera if the rain does not call everything off.
