This week has been a bit of a strange week, after celebrating my dad’s 70th at Stratford on Avon , and have a joyous time , I was told later in the week my Gran had passed away. She was a 101 and has recently moved to Whitely village
Unfortunately was only there for a couple of days, before she passed away very peacefully while holding Mum’s hand and stroking our family dog buddy.
We are holding the funeral in West Molesey on Thursday where she will be buried next to my Grandfather in the family plot.
At the weekend I was supposed to be on the little motocross track near Runnymead checking out my bike after replacing the front wheel bearings and front and rear pads , but in the morning I found I could not get the wheel back on , having tried for over 30 minutes I gave up even though there was a You Tube video showing how to complete this task in 6 minutes .,… very frustrating. Turns out the rubber dust seals were the wrong size and the spacers could not fit into them, thus making the wheel to large to fit in between the forks.
The weather was wet and the track was very muddy , but guys seemed to have had a good time . My plan is to get some new dust seals from Talon and then get ready fora ride out on the 15th followed by the next enduro race at Aldershot held by the Leatherhead Enduro club , I will keep you updated on the progress on all these events.
Ines is busy as usual and has recently filmed another wedding in Herts and is now back preparing for the next one
