Penshurst Place, Penshurst, Kent
‘Set in the rural Weald of Kent surrounded by picturesque countryside and ancient parkland, Penshurst Place and Gardens has changed little over the centuries.
There are three banqueting rooms of varying capacities, each with its own history and charm. The unrivalled Baron’s Hall and the elegant Sunderland Room are idyllic venues for wedding receptions. The smaller, intimate Buttery, once the bottle storeroom of the medieval household, may be used in conjunction with the banqueting rooms, or as a venue for an informal reception of up to 30 guests.

Lympne Castle, Kent
‘Lympne Castle is a beautiful 13th century, grade 1 listed building, set high on a hill overlooking the Romney Marshes. The Castle provides a perfect venue for wedding receptions, corporate events and private functions. The West Drawing Room, whilst echoing the majesty of the mediaeval castle, belongs to a different era. It was added in Edwardian times when the famous architect Sir Robert Lorimer was commissioned to restore the castle, which was then near to ruin. As you enter the room your attention is immediately drawn to the view from the huge bow window overlooking the south east coast. Wood panelling and a stone fireplace lend the room an imposing yet welcoming atmosphere.
Wedding Reception drinks follow the ceremony where our dedicated staff will serve drinks and attend to your guests.
The wedding Breakfast will take place in the glorious Great Hall or for the smaller more intimate wedding the West Wing Drawing Room’
