Wedding Wisbech Cambridgeshire
Award Winning Wedding Videographer travels to Cambridge for 5th time since 2004
Greetings from the Headquarters of Vis-à-Video , today Ines is on route to Wisbech near Cambridgeshire to film the Wedding of Amy & Andy. If you are unsure where Wisbech here is a map to assist you with the location and a few words from the Wiki about the town
Wisbech (pronounced /?w?zbi?t?/, second syllable as ‘beach’) is a market town and inland port with a population of about 20,000 in the Fenland area of Cambridgeshire. The tidal River Nene runs through the centre of the town and is spanned by two bridges. The name is believed to mean on the back of the (River) Ouse, with Ouse being a common Celtic word relating to ‘water’.
As I said earlier this is the 5th time Ines has driven to Cambridgeshire to film a Wedding , and today the two Wedding Venues are St Peter’s Church at Walpole and the Wedding Reception at Coopers Mill.
Alec Clifton-Taylor, quoted as saying that “ this is probably the finest village church in England“
Variously known as “Queen of the Marshlands” and “Cathedral of the Fens”, the Church of Walpole St Peter is said by Alec Clifton-Taylor in Buildings of Delight to be “.. These wonderful words are taken from the Church’s web site and I would highly recommend if you want to read the history and more information about the church please click on the photographer
After the Church Service the Bride and Groom will travel to Cooper’s Mill for the Wedding Reception . I think Ines told me this is a Care Home in Wisbech and that it is run by Amy’s family who specialise in patients with Learning disabilities.
I cant find there own web site but I can provide you with a link to the care home if you are looking for this type of home that caters for this requirement
Well that’s about it from Vis-a-Video , I will post another story from next week’s wedding so until next time , keep the content fresh – a little humour us SEO chaps like to say
