Off Duty with VIS-a-VIDEO SEO Officer
It has been a long time since I went green laning , as the bike was mainly in race trim… Mike and I decided to get the KTM’s MOT and taxed so we could go out with a few mates from the Surrey TRF. We all meet just outside Guildford , where our guide Mr Hobbs was going to take 6 of out for the day. We hit a few local lanes before going deep into Hampshire lanes and country side.
After about an hour’s riding we stopped for a short break and then carried on till lunch time. This was a burger van by the side of the road , where we all enjoyed a very greasy burger and tea.
After lunch we headed back into to the Hampshire hills to do another couple of hours , all in all we spent 6 hours in the saddle and I think everyone had a bloody good day …
On the business front Ines and I had a nice break from the office , and decided to stop editing for a few hours. It was a lovely evening and we decided we would have a walk over the downs and head off to the Rubbing House Pub for an evening pint and recce the restaurant as we had heard the food had improved. We noticed they had a nice selection of vegetarian meals both starters and main course and reasonably priced
With the Epsom Derby only a few weekends away we noticed how beautiful and maintained the Grand stands are, we are hoping we can make it down to the Derby unless of course we get a late booking to film a wedding in which case we will have to fight our way out of the local area… I will keep you posted
