Busy weekend for VIS-à-VIDEO from the IT side
We move all of VIS-a-VIDEO in one go
Wow what a busy weekend we have had with VIS-`-VIDEO ( Wedding Video Company ) we decided to move our domain name from our current ISP to a domian hosting company in the US and also host our other domain names with them. Our new company now host visavideo.com , vis-a-video , visavideo.co.uk and Pro-Tel . The new company also offer support for Macs, Dreamweaver and WordPress , so we plan to move our current blog to a local copy run on our sites.
Friday night we worked until 2:30 in the morning and then on Saturday I put a 18 hr day in to configure the DNS servers and also figure out how the new contact form would work, as our last ISP provided a perl script for us . I spent most of Saturday working out how php works and have now started to get the basics of a contact form in place.
Saturday afternoon I had my Mum over for lunch and for her to see our new bird Noomie , then it was back to work on the php script.
Sunday I was up early and headed over to Twickenham to have breakfast with a friend and then head on up to Bicester Village for some Xmas shopping , we got there for 11 am and managed to get all parked up without too much hassle , when we left at 2:30 the traffic was backed up to the M40 with the afternoon shoppers trying to make a mad dash for the shops.
We got back to London for 4 pm and I was away to the gym for 80 mins on the walker and stationary bike to burn up the weekend calories of the German biscuits we had over the weekend
