Corporate Filming & Editing by Vis-a-Video
This week I did some filming for the Melville Clinic, which promotes natural, alternative health and beauty treatments. We are going to produce some webclips and/ or infomercials for their website www.melville-clinic.co.uk. Today we filmed the procedures on two treatments – first one was the Genie Non-Surgical Face Lift, which uses pads on the face to stimulate the facial muscles. I have to say I was very impressed with the immediately apparent result. I didn’t expect to see such a difference after just one treatment.
This one was followed by a skin conditioning treatment with collagen which uses probes and a current to help the collagen really penetrate the skin and get absorbed. It looked so relaxing that I wanted to be on the table!
The second treatment we covered was the Accent Skin Tightening procedure. This one uses radio frequency to heat up the deeper layers of the dermis which re-arranges and tightens the collagen in the skin. This produces the skin-tightening effect and can be used on all sorts of areas of the body – knees, tummy, upper arms, saddle bags, thighs, buttocks and most of all the face. Today we covered the lower buttocks and this involved a hand-gun type thing being passed over the skin to reach the optimum temperature of 41 – 43ºC. Apparently, this is quite soothing and relaxing and a pleasant sensation of the epidermis being cooled at the same time as the deeper layers and dermis are heated up.
Suzie, who runs the Melville Clinic, had to do her bit to camera during these and did an impressive job – I was expecting to take hours but we sailed through everything quite painlessly.
Well, today was very interesting, I can honestly say I learnt quite a bit and the results really speak for themselves. And as it’s all natural and non-invasive it has to be good. I will let you know when our clips are going live…until then…keep visiting!!
